Dear Khoa & MaiAn,

We had a really rough day today with both of you not sleeping well. We started the day with going to the park and then to the mall. Big Brother had so much fun playing different games at the mall and didn't want to come home at all. Mommy was so tired on the way back pushing Big Brother and carrying Little Sister in my Moby wrap. Mommy had a tough time feeding Big Brother lunch but managed to put you in sleep at 12:45. Things went downhill from there, with Big Brother waking up early from nap and didn't fall back to sleep. Little Sister was interrupted multiple times and slept a few cat naps just 45 minutes each. By the time Daddy came home, Little Sister was way too tired and cried a lot while Mommy put you to sleep. You continue to sleep but had multiple bouts of cry while falling asleep. We started the sleep routine at 6, but you didn't sleep soundly until after 8.  Mommy feels so bad that you had a rough day and wants to cry along with you.

Big Brother refused to eat after you woke up from your nap, so we went outside to the park. You had a lot of fun playing hide and seek, climbing up and down the slide, with Mommy and Little Sister. We had to go home because it was getting dark and cold, even though you didn't want to come inside. I am glad that you enjoy going outside so much these days. My favorite moment today was when you were at the massage chair, you pretended that the remote control was the phone and you pretended to call your aunt.

I also love that you are reading to me these days the same way that I hold books and read to you - I hope you grow up and continue to love books.
