Checking out Montessori school for Big Brother

Dear Khoa & Mai An,

We started the day off with the three of us going to check out school for Big Brother. You seem to click right off and went to hang out with the other kids. You didn't want to leave at all. I am not sure if you knew that Mommy was nearby but you seem like you were delighted and inquisitive about the new environment.  You loved the playground the most and hopped right on even though you were the only one there. I hope when the day come that I have to drop you off at school that you are not anxious and will be adjusted quickly.  After the school visit, we went to the fire station so that you can look at all the firetrucks. We stayed there for quite a while; I am not sure what the firemen think when they see us going by everyday and just standing there in awe of the fire trucks. We tried to catch a glimpse of the train too, but we always seem to miss it somehow. It was unusually warm today, so Mommy didn't want you to spend all day in the sun. After the fire station, we went to the park where you spent some time on the swing and the slides. You played with another toddler and raced around the park with him. You were so happy and silly today and Mommy loved every single moment with you. We got home rather late; I attempted to feed you but you said that "Baby khong thich bot" so we went to take a nap. The sweetest was when you woke up, you had the biggest smile on your face and greeted me with "baby cua Me thuc day roi". It just melts my heart to hear those sweet words. I tried to give you some more food thinking that you must be hungry but you didn't want to eat that much today. Hopefuly, you will want to eat tomorrow. I am trying to make food more enticing so that you will eat more, but haven't been that successful. When Daddy came home, he took you to the library and you had so much fun there going on the elevator & stairs. Finally, the last thing we did were you reading a "train" book for Mommy and Daddy, which was super sweet too. I recorded that moment but accidentally deleted it - feel so bad right now.

Little Sister had a better day than yesterday sleeping wise, but you still had a tough time falling asleep for the night time. In the morning, you wanted to stay up to watch Big Brother while he played at the park too so you didn't have your regular morning nap. I am not sure why - I hope this period of not sleeping much will go away and you will go back to sleeping your long hours again. Mommy gave you a bath at night today, which you seem to enjoy. You have the biggest smiles on your face these days and Mommy just loves them so much. You still like to hang out in the Moby wrap, danging in front like a kangaroo, which is your nickname these days.

Mommy will head to bed early today... sending all my Love the biggest Loves of my life: Khoa & Mai An.
